Las Vegas Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties!

Bachelor Party Tips

Here are some things you might want to know!

1. Schedule bachelor party or bachelorette party at least 1 day ahead of the wedding to avoid hung over wedding guests.

2. Arrange transportation for all guests so that no one has to be the designated driver unless you have teetotalers in the group who will volunteer.

3. Estimate all costs and add in tips. Set a firm date for money collection from the invited bachelor or bachelorette party group at least 2 weeks in advance. The groom and bride usually do not contribute any money to the party.

4. If renting a room, don’t get an overly spacious hall because the bachelor party or bachelorette party is more fun when guests can nudge each other, whisper comments, etc.

5. Schedule the bachelor or bachelorette party strippers at least 2 weeks in advance and then reconfirm 2-3 days ahead of the party. If you book an extra half hour, the strippers can be waiting for your cue and immediately start on time. If you have no leeway, they might be stuck in traffic or be lost.

6. Individualize the strip show with costumes or props. If your groom is a coach at a high school, arrange for the stripper to have a sports oriented costume. If the bride is a tennis player, a stripper could spank her with a prop tennis racket. This may cost more and require planning but it makes the strip show unique. Be sure to let the stripper know in advance what is expected because there may be extra charges.

7. Find out what the bride or groom will find offensive from their bachelor or bachelorette strip routine and let the stripper know not to go over that line.

8. Ask about food allergies and preferences before settling on the caterer or the restaurant. Do this and the drinks suggestions at the same time you are collecting money.

9. For drinks, start with 1 drink per 50 minutes per person and adjust for rowdiness of the crowd. If you know you have some big drinkers, pad your estimate.

10. You cannot please everyone at the bachelor or bachelorette party but you can please the bride or groom and most of the guests.

11. If someone does not meet the firm deadline for money collection, they are not going to the party. You will sometimes run into a skilled leech.

12. Use some websites that have background info about your Las Vegas bachelor party or bachelorette party.

  • Vegas.com (lots of individual reviews but very touristy and they don’t compare much)
  • LasVegasAdvisor.com (Good general information, forums helpful too)
  • VegasMadeEasy.com (Detailed comparisons, highest quality of information, much of it exclusive.
